Eventful Weekend!!

Happy Tuesday!!

Hey, Hey everyone!! I hope you guys had a great weekend!!!  We had a nice cold front that came into town on Saturday, and it is still here in Atlanta with us!! I was sad at first because I had planned to take my boys to the pumpkin patch Saturday, but it was just TOO cold. I will take them soon though.. Actually,  I can honestly say I am loving it because not only am I am tired of  HOT weather, but I am ready to put up my summer wardrobe!!...LOL I love love, fall and winter. I am looking forward to bringing out my winter boots, sweaters, coats, scarfs, and so much more! I am also looking forward to Thanksgiving and my favorite holiday, CHRISTMAS!! I will be doing alot of posts on holiday shopping, decorating, holiday parties, and so much more!! 

So on Sunday, I attended the Swapnista Event which also featured the launch of the BFF Resale shop!! Basically me and my fellow BFF's will be selling some of our gently used items on a website designed just for the BFF's!! The Swapnista event was very fun. Basically, swappers would come in and check in 3 items of clothing, and then later they get too fill up their bag with super cool clothing they find during the Swap!!!. After the Swapnista party, I headed to my girl Alicia's house to join some of the other Socialite's of the fabulous group. The Socialite Society, which is a group founded by good friend Alicia. It is basically a women's social group where we explore Atlanta, socialize, shop and most importantly have fun!!! I been a member for about 2 years now and I just love it!!!  The scary party was so much fun, and we had tons of good food to eat!!! We was also able to  shop the fabulous jewelry featured by Ubran Blu!! Happy Friday!!..

Hey, Hey!!!

I just wanted to just say "Hi" and let you guys in on what a fun exciting eventful weekend I have planned ahead of me. Saturday, I plan on taking my babies to the pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins, then later my son has a late football game that evening. Then Sunday, I will be attending a fabulous Swapnsista Day Party hosted by the fabulous Fashion Envy LLC and Pretty Girls Rock Dresses. This will be a one-of-a-kind shopping experience that supports a local charity and includes a fashion swap, fashion show, vendor suite and pampering lounge. I am so excited because this will be my first  time ever attending a Swapnista party and they do them every year!!! For more information you can check it out here.. I will also be attending a FABULOUS Scary Movie Party that evening. I can't wait!!

 I also wanted to let everyone know that I plan on launching a vintage resale shop. I will be offering some of the most FABULOUS, different,  one of a kind, and inexpensive pieces! I will keep you guys posted on that one, but until then you guys have a good weekend. I can't wait  share with you guys about my upcoming weekend, and all the fabulous events I will be attending!!

Chic in the City, Sex and the City Event!!

Hey everyone!!!

Sooo, I am sorry I took so long to do a new post, I just had SO much going on this week. The mother of a little league football player, a 20 month old toddler, a student, and a wife, but I love it all!!! :)  My blessings!!

 So this past Friday,  me and the fellow BFF's (Blog Fab Fashionistas) were invited to a fabulous Chic in the City event that was hosted by Parker Simmons (a fellow BFF.and the founder and CEO of Everyday Runway) at the Bou Chic and Lounge in Atlanta GA!! This event was a BFF exclusive only event and I was HONORED to be in attendance. It was a night of fun and fashion,  BFF style.. I mean I really enjoyed myself.  The food was delicious. It was prepared by celebrity chef, The Bow Tie Chef , Soo Soo Tasty, and Popularity Sweets Cake pops. They even had a bartender!! They also had a DJ,  DJ  Mello  who kept us jamming on the dance floor. We snapped pictures, chowed down on the yummy food, talked amongst each other, and just had a good ol' time!! There was also drawings and giveaways, and I won a fabulous gift bag of goodies with one of the drawings!! The theme of the night was basically everyone had to come dressed as their FAVE Sex and the City character!! I decided to come dressed as Samantha.   Not only is she my favorite character, I also love her bold personality, confidence, and she really just don't care about any judgements people make about her. Her style is out of this world!! I love how she to dresses in loud, colorful, fashionable clothing and oh we can't forget her signature OVER THE TOP fabulous hats!!! I just love her!! Everyone at the event looked so fabulous in their character costumes and I took so many pictures!! There was a contest where whoever imitated their character the best would win a fabulous prize, and guess what guys and gals, I WON!!!!  YAYYY!!  I was sooo excited and thankful for being able to win the contest!! I took tons of pictures so check them out below!!!

Follow up on "New Boots that Didn't Cost me a Dime"...

Hey guys!!!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I had a wonderful weekend. My oldest son had his homecoming game on Saturday, and they won 27-0!!! I am so proud of them!!!  I am also one of the team moms  so I was so busy during the game, but we overall had a good time..  Later that evening I had a date with my husband. I decided to wear the fabulous booties "that didn't cost me a dime" out on our date. We had ball. We went to Frank Ski's of Atlanta Restaurant and Lounge for dinner,  Cami Cupcake's for dessert,  to Lenox mall and did some shopping, and finished the night off with a movie. We saw Taken 2, and it was so good!! I loved it!! So with my outfit, I was thinking about doing a bold color with the shoes, but I wanted the shoes to stand out with this FABULOUS peplum jacket I had to with them, so I decided to do just a black skirt. I didn't want to overpower the stripes. I wanted to give the outfit a "pop" of  color so I wore some red earrings with a red clutch. I even did a red lip.  I got tons of compliments on this outfit, and it was perfect for this past saturday's weather. Here are some pictures!!!

My Healthy "Super Juice"

Hey!!

I hope everyone has had an wonderful weekend. My weekend was filled with spending quality time with my family, attending my sons football game, and I just relaxed. I have a busy week this week because I have to attend a few events, two birthday parties, and my sons football game. I am very excited about my upcoming busy week.

So this post is about this healthy drink that I make for me and my family. I love my family dearly and I know health is very important in order to live a long successful life. My boys are my world and I am always trying to find  NATURAL ways to keep their immune systems strong enough to fight off nasty illnesses. I love to create new tropical drinks, and a couple of weeks ago I decided to create a "healthy drink" that doesn't only taste GREAT but would be VERY healthy for my family. I call this drink  my "Super Juice". My "Super Juice" is basically a mixture of 4 exotic fruit juices that I buy from the Farmer's Market and grocery stores. The first juice I put in my drink it is called Pomegranate Juice.

Pomegranate Juice

I add the whole can which is 11.8 fl oz. Pomegranate juice is made from the fruit of the pomegranate. Research suggests that Pomegranate juice may play a role in reducing the risk of cancer, reducing serum cholesterol, and protecting arteries from clogging. It has a very exotic fruit that tastes so good that I could just drink this juice alone. You can get this juice at a Farmer's Market's for no more than a $1.20 a can. (price may vary depending on location). I have also seen these in some Food Depot stores, along with some Walmart Stores.

Mangosteen Juice

The second Juice Drink I add is Mangosteen Juice. Mangosteen is a tropical fruit native to Southeast Asia that is touted for its antioxidants, especially xanthones, a type of chemical in certain plants. Mangosteen is FULL of antioxidants and I love that because they fight off serious illnesses and so much more. You can also find this juice at your local Farmer's Market, or Walmart for about $1.20 a can. (price may vary depending on location). I add the whole can which is also 11.8 fl oz  to my "Super Juice".

Cranbery Goji

The third Juice drink I add is Cranbery Goji by Genesis Today. Genesis Today Cranberry Goji Juice™ combines two of nature's powerful super fruits: goji, the "happy berry" from China, and the mighty cranberry. Tart and naturally sweet this juice is full of essential nutrients, including vitamins and minerals to support your health with every delicious sip. GensisToday These DELICIOUS drink can be found in Walmart on the orange juice isle. It is about $6.00 dollars but you get a 59 fl oz of this yummy fruit juice. This bottle lasts me for a couple of weeks.  I just add 2 cups of this juice my special "Super Juice".

Acai` Berry Classic

The last Juice Drink I add is the Acai` Berry Classic also by Genesis Today. Acai berries are packed with antioxidants that support healthy skin, hair and nails so that is why I LOVE this juice as well.. GenesisToday I also buy this delicious juice at Walmart on the orange juice isle for about $6.00 dollars, and you get 59 fl oz. This bottle lasts me for a couple of weeks!!!  I also add 2 cups of this juice to my "Special Juice".

So those four juice drinks is what makes up my healthy, tasty, powerful "Special Juice".  It tastes like a delicious smoothie and my family LOVE it. I love it because not only do it strengthens my family's immune system, but it also gives us energy and it will help prevent serious illnesses. Lastly, it is all N-A-T-U-R-A-L.  I posted this post because this juice  has been a blessing to me and my family and I am hoping it can be a blessing to someone else's family!!  So try it guys because not only do it tastes great and it is also very affordable!!
